First time out with Good Time Running Club along with NCT Dads, 13kn from Beach To Brewery, ending up at Cross Borders in Dalkeith.

Results are in: passed the OU module “The British Isles and the modern world” - now I need to decide if I have the time to do the final “year” of studying

We visited the Jewish Museum. A really worthwhile experience, very well presented. The building really shows the power of architecture to evoke feelings: the void in the tower, and instability in the Garden of Exile.

Getting the most out of our zoo pass with a wee fathers day trip. Highlight was some baby tamarins.

📸 zoo day, and first bus trip for the boy! We had fun watching the crowds on their way to Taylor Swift, plus seeing this lovely blue frog.

New marathon pb: 4:31:07 - I had far fewer long runs to train this year. I think this helped, as I was much stricter with keeping to pace in the first 10km, rather than being swept along by the crowd. Legs cramped up in the last two km, but overall it was an enjoyable race.
